New Website of Google to Help Locate Food Banks in US

The technology company ‘Google’ has launched a new website, which is called as Find Food Support, that is mainly responsible in putting the important resources on how to locate and identify affordable and free food across the United States in one place. The most important and useful feature of the Find Food Support website is that, it can offer a new type of the Google Maps tool, which can be able to point the user to the nearest food bank, pickup site of school lunch program or food pantry.

According to the reports, 45 million people in the United States alone is having no reliable access to the affordable food in the year 2020, that has also been including 30 percent increase from 2019.

The company Google has been working with the company with No Kid Hungry, along with the Department of Agriculture of United States and FoofFinder for adding 90,000 places across the world, along with the free food support across the 50 states of America on the Map.

Google also said, it is going to add more locations on the website and for using the tool, the users have to go to the website and type in their location, and it will then show the users, the nearest pantries and food banks along with their phone numbers, contact details and also the time of their operations.
