Mason Mount and Marcus Rashford Withdrawn from England Football Team

Sports

Marcus Rashford has been dropped from the England squad to play Italy and Ukraine this week due to a knock he sustained during Manchester United’s FA Cup victory over Fulham at Old Trafford yesterday. Goalkeeper Nick Pope and Chelsea midfielder Mason Mount are both leaving the team, according to the FA.

While neither outfield player will be replaced, Fraser Forster, a Tottenham goalkeeper, has been called up to replace Pope at Newcastle.

Mount’s absence was anticipated after Chelsea head coach Graham Potter expressed surprise at the midfielder’s inclusion. He has suffered a pubic bone injury.

Graham Potter stated that, to his knowledge, Mason Mount has never been accessible. He was basically out of Britain since he really wanted a period for his physical issue to recuperate. Graham is unsure whether that indicated that they required additional time to verify that.

He does not believe anything bad is happening. He can sometimes be identified with these things, but there are still a few days when things can change. He was, however, unavailable for the weekend, according to Graham Potter’s selection.
