On February 15, 2023, Maruti Suzuki India announced that it had partnered with SMAS Auto Leasing India Pvt Ltd to improve its vehicle subscription program.
Maruti Suzuki India said in a statement that SMAS is the fifth partner to offer a variety of the company’s vehicles on white plate subscription, in which the vehicle is registered under the name of the user to the subscription partner.
The company added that Maruti Suzuki Subscribe with SMAS is now available in Delhi, Gurugram, Noida, Mumbai, Pune, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Chennai among other cities.
Shashank Srivastava, senior executive officer for marketing and sales at Maruti Suzuki India, stated that the Maruti Suzuki Subscribe program has received positive feedback since its introduction two years ago, particularly from today’s asset-light generation that favors flexible purchasing decisions.
According to Meherban Singh, General Manager of SMAS Auto Leasing and Head of Strategic Sale, car subscriptions are becoming increasingly popular with Indian customers across all major segments, including individuals, professionals, business owners, and corporations.
Shashank Srivastava added that they wish to expand their reach even further and serve their customers with more ease and convenience. Through new partnerships and city expansions, they wish to expand their reach even further.
