There have been a lot of exciting developments regarding Deadpool 3’s production and casting in recent months. Ryan Reynolds, who will play Deadpool/Wade Wilson once more in the third movie, posted on Twitter that Emmy Awards nominated actor Emma Corrin would be joining the Deadpool 3 cast.
After playing Lady Chatterley in the movie Lady Chatterley’s Lover and Princess Diana in the fourth season of The Crown, Corrin became a household name.
Emma Corrin was hailed by fans as a great addition to the Deadpool series. Emma Corrin will play the villain, joining Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman, who will play Wolverine again. Emma Corrin has won and also been nominated for numerous prestigious awards, including the Emmys, Critics’ Choice, Golden Globes, and Screen Actors Guild award, making her one of the best actors of their generation.
Emma Corrin has already made an appearance in Pennyworth, so the viewers will not be surprised to learn that this will not be her first appearance in a superhero movie, and the actress has also worked in the television series: The Story Behind Batman’s Butler.
Like its predecessors, Deadpool 3 will be rated R. Despite Disney’s acquisition of 20th Century Fox in 2019, the script’s authors Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick promised fans that the film’s tone would not change. Kevin Feige, president of Marvel Studios, also discussed the MCU’s future in a tweet.
