Enlight Renewable Energy to Launch its IPO on Nasdaq Exchange

To pursue an initial public offering on the Nasdaq Capital markets exchange, Enlight Renewable Energy Ltd., a global developer of renewable energy, filed a Form F-1 registration statement with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.

The Israeli company, which is currently listed on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange, intends to use the same ticker, ENLT, when it officially dual lists in Israel and the United States. The precise number of shares or capital size of the offering of shares in the United States has not yet been determined.

The lead book-running managers for the US listing are J.P. Morgan, BofA Securities, and Barclays. Credit Suisse and Wolfe/Nomura Alliance are the joint book-running managers. The offering is co-managed by Roth Capital Partners.

Enlight, based in Rosh Ha’ayin, Israel, currently operates 17 GW of solar and wind farms and has 15.3 GWh of storage in nine countries, including 17 US states.

Enlight made its debut in the renewable energy market in the United States in August 2021 by paying $433 million to acquire Clenera, a developer of utility-scale solar and storage projects with 4.0 GW of assets based in Boise, Idaho.

After holding various senior positions at Recurrent Energy, SunPower, and PG&E, Michael Avidan leads Enlight’s U.S. business. Approximately 7.7 GW of Enlight projects are currently in advanced interconnect status, allowing them to begin operations in the United States, where 64% of Enlight’s operations are located.
