Verizon today announced the launch of Verizon Mobile for Microsoft Teams, a new service that integrates mobile devices with Microsoft Teams for easier calling and collaboration, building on its strategic partnership with Microsoft.
Verizon launched Verizon Mobile for Microsoft Teams to provide true mobile flexibility with the power of Verizon 5G and Teams to users working from anywhere. It was the first US operator to allow wireless subscribers to use the native dialer on their mobile device to receive calls as a Teams endpoint.
According to Sampath Sowmyanarayan, Chief Executive Officer of Verizon Business, what they are hearing from customers is a need for the true mobilization of unified communications and collaboration to support their hybrid work environments.
Sampath Sowmyanarayan continued, “We are proud to be the first operator in the United States to unleash Teams Phone Mobile.” He added that Verizon Mobile for Microsoft Teams will help customers further mobilize their workforces. This is yet another illustration of how they are offering flexibility to work from anywhere to help customers adapt to and succeed in the changing workplace.
