Hildegard Wortmann stated, “The strong numbers for the all-electric models show us that our clear focus on electric mobility is the right path.” In the United States, sales of all-electric Audi models reached 16,177 in 2022, representing a 47.3 percent increase over 2021.
The company delivered 6,42,548 vehicles in China, down 8.4% from the previous year. The drop, according to the company, was brought on by production constraints brought on by Covid-19 and persistent supply bottlenecks, particularly in the semiconductor industry. However, there was a 90.2 percent increase in global demand for fully electric vehicles in additional markets.
Wortomann added, despite the fact that they are as yet confronting worldwide financial difficulties, they are looking toward the future with certainty since they are going into 2023, during which they will speed up the change together, with an alluring portfolio, countless orders and a profoundly energetic group.
