After signing with Al-Nassr on a free transfer, Cristiano Ronaldo was unveiled by the Saudi Arabian team on Tuesday, January 3, 2022. According to reports, Cristiano Ronaldo has agreed to a two-and-a-half-year contract and will earn £175 million per season from both wages and commercial revenue. Al-Nassr will be eager to put the self-described “unique” player on the field after bringing him to the club.

The Pro League match between Al-Nassr and Al T’aee saw the club sell out all 28,000 seats in anticipation of Ronaldo making his debut. However, the club’s grand strategy has been put in jeopardy.

After Manchester United’s match against Everton this season, Ronaldo was caught on camera slamming the hand of a child, which caused damage to his phone. The Portuguese forward received a £50,000 fine and a two-game suspension in November last year after the police and FA began an investigation.

Ronaldo was found guilty by the Independent FA Panel, which was led by Christopher Quinlan KC and found him guilty of a petulant act that was deliberate and forceful.

After his interview with Piers Morgan, Cristiano Ronaldo left United before he could serve the ban. However, it appears that he will not be able to avoid the suspension portion of the punishment even by moving to a different league.

The FA cited Cristiano Ronaldo’s participation in a recently published interview in which he criticized Manchester United as the reason for imposing the ban on him.
