Several months after the release of the movie Vikram Vedha, an action film starring Hrithik Roshan and Saif Ali Khan, Saif Ali Khan has finally opened up about how poorly the movie did at the box office. Saif Ali Khan has recently spoken about his dissatisfaction with the performance of the movie.
The reason they should be very polite to each other is because no one has any clue as to what actually works and does not work, said the actor. Said Ali Khan then spoke about how many movies are not doing well at the box office.
Saif Ali Khan added that he has no idea but something is happening, and people will continue to produce movies. The prices for the films will keep fluctuating due to their pricing, and some of the prices are insane, and they pay people astronomically, and the returns have not been good.
Some Hindi movies have actually performed well in 2022, while several South Indian movies such as KGF 2, RRR, and Kantara have broken all the records of box office, and this has been the reason why box office performance of Vikram Vedha has been so upsetting, said Saif Ali Khan.
The actor has also acknowledged the present trend and stated that KGF and RRR are entrenched in the roots of Indian cinema. Vikram Vedha, which was made on high budget, came close to the 80 crore mark at the Indian box office, and it is a commercial failure and has performed well overseas commercially.
