NATIVA, a global leader in sustainable, fully traceable Merino wool, announced the US launch of the NATIVA Regenerative Agriculture Program (NATIVA Regen), in collaboration with Shaniko Wool Company.
NATIVA Regen, which is the first regenerative wool program to be launched in the United States, is designed to improve water and soil quality, and protect biodiversity while helping brands decrease their carbon footprint and reach sustainability targets.
Brands that produce garments with wool manufactured under the NATIVA Regen program will commit to supporting regenerative farming practices as well as communities and farmers. The farmers and brands participating in the program will be able to claim a double NATIVA and Responsible Wool Standard (RWS) certification that guarantees sustainable practices from farm to finished garment.
Federico Paullier, chief executive officer of Chargeurs Luxury Fibers, said that they are very happy to expand their NATIVA Regen program to the United States in partnership with Shaniko Wool Company as part of their global commitment to sustainability and innovation.
Federico Paullier said they are looking forward to welcoming US-based farmers and brands to the program and supporting them as they transition to regenerative practices that improve water and soil quality while promoting healthier habitats that restore natural biodiversity.
