Joseph Boll, chief executive officer of Caribbean Employment Services Inc. said Caribbean healthcare workers can expect to continue to be recruited to work and love abroad over the next few years.
The Caribbean Employment Services Inc. specializes in helping organizations and businesses recruit the best candidates for their roles and also helps jobseekers find their ideal position. In particular, over the past few months, it has been noted that efforts by foreign employers to recruit Caribbean talent is increasing.
This increase is especially the case with employers based in the United Kingdom, which has been experiencing serious labour shortages since the beginning of 2022.
Joseph Boll said recruiting Caribbean workers is becoming a viable option for employers in the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, and elsewhere. He also said that international labour markets are facing shortages in multiple industries in the United Kingdom, and it has been very critical for healthcare, and in the United States, the technology industry is starting to report staffing problems.
He added that the Caribbean can be an important source of skilled workers to fill job gaps in the markets that are lacking. The issue of labour shortages is mainly critical in the healthcare industry, along with the COVID-19 pandemic, and the recent outbreak of the monkeypox disease, which are pushing the industry to its maximum capacity.
