PepsiCo Expands its Efforts to Address Food Insecurity Across Globe

In response to the increasing hunger crisis, PepsiCo and the PepsiCo Foundation, the philanthropic subsidiary of PepsiCo, announced the expansion of the company’s holistic efforts to advance the security of the food.

Through the company’s global Food and Good initiatives, the Foundation is doubling down on the efforts for increasing the equitable access to the nutritious food by increasing the company’s own investments along with offering three news wars for engaging people in fighting the hunger.

According to the reports, today, 345 million people in the world are facing severe hunger. This number is expected to grow as the climate change, Covid-19 pandemic, and global conflict continuing to ravage their global food system.

Building on more than a decade of partnering with the communities to advance the food security through the collaboration, PepsiCo Food for Good has also committed over 35 million dollars since 2021 along to increase access to the nutritious food and increase productivity and incomes if the small-scale farmers.

In 2022, the directing investments of the company to interventions that have shown can possibly build the long-term solutions while the company continues for addressing immediate hunger needs.
