The government of the United Kingdom has now introduced a legislation in the Parliament that is going to be overriding the parts of the landmark 2019 Brexit agreement that is struck with the European Union when the United Kingdom has left the common economic zone.
As the government of the United Kingdom insisting the Northern Ireland Protocol bill has been aimed at fixing the parts of the Northern Ireland Protocol and the European Union has opposed to the move because it has warned that, it is going back on the agreed terms signed by Boris Johnson, prime minister of the United Kingdom more than two years ago.
The government of the United Kingdom has denied any potential breach of the international law and it is arguing that, the changes is going to mean that, the United Kingdom has been staying together.
Liz Truss, foreign secretary of the United Kingdom said, this bill is going to uphold the Belfast Agreement and providing support to the political stability in the region of Northern Ireland. He also said that, it is going to end the untenable situation where the people in the region of Northern Ireland have treated differently to the rest of the country, along with protecting the supremacy of their courts and their territorial integrity.
This has been a reasonable along with practical solution to the problems faced by Northern Ireland.
