Tesla Submits Plan To Expand Plant In Germany

The electric vehicle manufacturing company ‘Tesla’ has now submitted an application for building on a further 100 hectares east of the company’s plant in Germany, which will be expanding the area of the site by a third.

The electric vehicle company, which already has 300 hectares of land for the company’s automobile company and battery plant under the construction, which has been planned for building a freight station, along with the logistics areas and parking spaces on the additional space. The proposal is going to be discussed at a municipality meeting on 2nd June 2022.

The company ‘Tesla’ did not responded immediately to a request for making any comment. The electric vehicle plant of Tesla in Gruenheide, which at full capacity is going to be producing 500,000 electric cars in a year and has started the production in the month of March 2022 after a series of licensing delays that, Elon Musk, chief executive officer of Tesla said regarding the urgency, which is needed for tackling the climate change.

The local water suppliers in the region has also given warning when the company had been granted the final approval to start the production at the factory that servicing any future expansion to the facility is going to be impossible without importing the water from several other regions across Germany.
