Volvo, a Swedish luxury automobile company has announced that, it is going to electrify the company’s entire product portfolio in the United States by the year 2023. This strategy is including the plug-in hybrids, mild-hybrids and the fully electric models.
The automobile company said that, this new strategy is going to be resulting in the changes to the C60 Cross Country, XC40 and XC90 that will be getting the mild-hybrid powertrains. This move has come as a step forward towards the promise of the automobile company of being a fully electric vehicle brand by the end of the year 2030 and the planned electrified product portfolio is going to be offering the customers of Volvo a wide range of the electrified options that has been available selecting as per their preference.
Meanwhile, the automobile company has also updated the Xc40 by introducing the new design tweaks and new features to the compact crossover for the model year 2023, and the updated XC40 has come with a new frameless front grille and has been a revised bumper.
The updated Volvo XC40 has also got a premium options of leather-free upholstery, which can possibly be paired with the new exterior colour and wheel choices, and the automobile company is also going to be launching its built-in Google assistant in the XC40 model and across the complete range of Volvo 2023.
The company also said that, the update Volvo cars have already entered the production process and they are going to be reaching the dealerships in later 2022.
