Joe Biden Proposed $500-million Emergency Incentive To Boost Agriculture in US

The administration of Joe Biden, president of the United States said, it is going be putting 500 million dollars into the farm supports, which will be boosting the wheat production of the United States by around 18 percent and also expanding the production of the food grains and edible oils in an effort for filling the gap that has been created by the warfare in Ukraine.

This funding from the government of the United States is going to help in easing the increasing food prices at home and also abroad that has been caused by the war between Russia and Ukraine.

The funding had been a part of the request of Joe Biden for 33 billion dollars in the emergency spreading and two-thirds of the funding will be in the military aid to Ukraine and around 8.5 billion dollars in the economic assistance is going to be provided to Ukraine and 3 billion dollars in the humanitarian assistance is going to be addressing the needs of the food security across the world.

The government of the United States said, an additional 500 million dollars in the domestic food production assistance is going to be supporting the production of US food crops that have been experiencing the global shortage because of the war in Ukraine.

The USDA has also estimated that, the wheat growers can possibly harvest enough crops wheat for the purpose of making up for around 50 percent of the wheat export of Ukraine.
