Panasonic, a leading electric vehicle battery manufacturing company, has now joined the Clean Energy Buyers Association (CEBA) as a part of the company’s expanded focus on the clean energy initiatives along with providing help for advancing the environmental sustainability goals of the company in North America and across the world.
Being an energy customer member of CEBA, Panasonic is aligning with the global alliance of the peer companies along with the energy developers and service providers that are seeking to unlock the marketplace for the energy customers and also leading a rapid transition to a future of carbon-free energy.
Megan Myungwon Lee, CEO and Chairman of Panasonic Corporation of North America said, Panasonic has been a leader in the clean energy technology and manufacturing for a very long time including the solar energy and battery storage but, they must also do their part for mitigating the impacts of their internal carbon emissions.
Megan Myungwon Lee also said that, they are now looking forward for becoming more involved in the CEBA member community and collaborating for the purpose of promoting and adopting the innovative solutions for effectively dealing with the climate crisis.
Jeff Werner, vice president of corporate and government affairs at Panasonic North America said, the company is proud for joining CEBA, as they are working to incorporate renewables, along with the energy efficiency and several other innovative tools for decreasing the carbon footprint of their operations across the region of North America.
