UK Scientist: Covid-19 mRNA Technology Might Create Cure for Heart Attacks

Biotechnology

The United Kingdom scientist might have discovered the first cure in the world for the heart attacks that have been using the same mRNA technology as the corona virus vaccines, and the human heart is having no capacity for healing itself after a heart attack.

But, with the help of this new technique called as the genetic tracking that is built on the same technology that is used for creating the corona virus vaccines developed by Moderna and Pfizer and BioNTech that can possibly help in the new heart cells replacing the dead cells and instead of forming a scar, along with developing a new muscle tissue.

A team of scientists has tracked the genetic codes called the mRNAs, which are injected into the heart for the purpose of producing the proteins that is going to be generating the healthy heart cells.

Professor Mauro Giacca, lead researcher said that, they are all born a set number of the muscle cells in their heart and they have been exactly the same ones they will die with. Their main goal has also been for finding a treatment that can possibly convince the surviving cells to proliferate.

He said that, regeneration of a damaged human heart has been a dream few year back but can also become a reality, and they are also using the exactly same technology for the purpose of injecting the micro RNAs to the heart along with reaching the surviving heart cells and also pushing their proliferation.
