The automobile company ‘Toyota’ has been issuing a safety recall for the purpose of addressing a software glitch that is affecting around 460,000 Lexus and Toyota vehicles. The company ‘Toyota’ said that, the problem is concerned to the Vehicle Stability Control (VSC) systems of the cars, which has been a feature designed for the purpose of helping the drivers for maintaining the vehicle control under the adverse conditions.
The company also said that, the Vehicle Stability Control (VSC) systems of the vehicles that have been recalled might be experiencing an error that is preventing the feature from the automatically enabling in some of the situations.
The notice of the voluntary recalls issued including the names of 10 different car models of the Lexus and Toyota vehicles and the vehicles are Toyota Venza, RAV4 Hybrid, RAV4 Prime, Mirai, Sienna HV and the Highlander HV models and the Lexus LS500h, LX600, NX450h+ and NX350h models.
Toyota also said that, the owners of the recalled vehicles is going to be notified by the middle of the month of June 2022, and the fix is going to be provided free of charge at the dealers of Toyota and Lexus.
The company also said that, the customers can possibly check with Toyota of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration for seeing of their vehicles have been affected. Toyota has also issued a recall for 4,000 additional 2022 Lexus NX vehicles for the potential incorrect welding at the site of the first absorbers and also the body panels of the company.
