Innovative Finance, an industry body in the United Kingdom has been launching a spinoff group for the purpose of promoting the booming fintech industry of the country across the globe. The International FinTech Group is going to be providing the support to the financial technology companies of the United Kingdom on the frameworks and trade agreements.
It is also going to be promoting the fintech success stories of the fintech and is also aiming to solidify the strong global position of the United Kingdom in the fintech industry, and in 2021, the fintech companies of the United Kingdom has attracted 8.56 billion pounds in the investment.
The International FinTech Group is going to be co-chaired by the Innovative Finance and the Department of International Trade of the government of the United Kingdom, and the fintech companies known as Revolut, Checkout.com and Klarna have been among the first companies for joining the organization.
A report has also advised that, the United Kingdom should make sure that, it capitalises on the growth of the industry and also promoting the fintech companies on the international level.
Janine Hirt, chief executive officer of Innovative Finance said that, the International FinTech Group is going to be central to the work they are doing for promoting their fintech industry of the United Kingdom along with the aim for the purpose of boosting the global cooperation and also the trade relations.
Janine Hirt also said that, by bringing the industry on the international scale has been an important international asset for the United Kingdom.
