Network Rail based in the United Kingdom is all set for investing 108 million dollars on the 530 rail project across the country for the purpose of improving the services across the country. This project is also going to be consisting of the resignalling and switching along with the crossings works at the Clapham Junction of the United Kingdom.
For the purpose of increasing the safety and capacity for the passengers, the renewals of the plain line track, crossings, switches and HS2 works are going to be carried out at the Watford North Junction and London Euston.
Besides this, the renewal works for bridge at the Coventry South Junction and the HS2 enabling works are going to be conducted at the region of Hampton-in-Arden, and the company ‘Network Rail’ is going to be conducting the switches and crossing renewals at the Bishops Stortford, and it is also going to be carrying out the station upgradation works at the Gatwick Airport and also the Hertford East for the purpose of increasing the capacity.
Andrew Haines, chief executive officer at Network Rail said, the majority of the railways is going to be open as usual for the people of the country to take a short break along with visiting their loved ones, but some of the rail routes are going to be affected by the company’s upgrade works which is why, they are asking the passengers for planning ahead and also checking the journeys of the passengers in advance.
