The United Kingdom has donated one million more doses of the novel corona virus vaccine Developed by Oxford and AstraZeneca to the country of Bangladesh for fighting against the novel corona virus, and British High Commission based in Dhaka, Bangladesh said, the consignment of the covid-19 vaccine has been arrived in Bangladesh.
While welcoming the donation of the corona virus vaccine from the United Kingdom, and the Robert Chatterton Dickson, British High Commissioner to Bangladesh said, they have welcomed the arrival of one million corona virus vaccine from the United Kingdom and this new donation has added to the 4 million doses of the vaccine that, the United Kingdom has donated through the Covax in 2021.
He also said that, this support from the United Kingdom has now taken them one step forward for the purpose of defeating the covid-19 pandemic and also further strengthening the commitment for standing with the people of Bangladesh for the purpose of quickly recovering and building a prosperous and healthy future.
The new bilateral donation from the United Kingdom is going to be reinforcing the country’s fight against the novel corona virus pandemic along with the economic recovery of Bangladesh, and prior to this, the United Kingdom has also donated more than 4 million doses of the AstraZeneca covid-19 vaccine to Bangladesh in the month of December 2021 through the facilities of Covax.
