Aston Martin and Britishvolt has partnered with Aston Martin for the purpose of developing the bespoke high performance battery cell technology as the luxury automobile company has been moving forward in the electrification journey of the company.
This partnership is further supporting the plans of Aston Martin for launching the company’s first battery powered electric vehicle in the year 2025 along with Aston Martin that has been targeting the new standards of the repeatable performance on the track, along with the range and charging time as the company is bringing its engineering expertise along with extreme personalisation and beautiful design to the all-electric driving.
The partnership with Britishvolt has been bringing together two innovative and leading companies in the United Kingdom engineering for the purpose of creating the next generation of the battery cell technology that is specifically designed for the cars of high performance.
A joint team of research and development from Britishvolt and Aston Martin is going to develop, design and industrialize the battery packs that are including a battery management system and bespoke modules. Both the companies are going to be working together for the purpose of maximizing the capability of the special cylindrical cells of that are being developed by the company ‘Britishvolt’ for use in the high performance of the electric vehicles of Aston Martin.
Aston Martin is also going to be developing the alternatives to the internal combustion engine and the continuous electrification of the roadmap is going to commencing the deliveries in the early period of the year 2024.
