US DOE Launched Hydrogen and Nuclear Infrastructure Programs in US

The Department of Energy (DOE) of the United States has now launched a 6 billion dollars programme for the purpose of supporting the continuous operations of the existing the nuclear power plants, and the US DOE has also set in motion the programme for the purpose of investing 9.5 billion dollars in the technologies of clean hydrogen that might be including the technologies including the use of the nuclear power. Both the initiatives has been a part of the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law.

Jennifer Granholm, Secretary of Energy of the United States said, the nuclear power plants in the United States have been very important for the purpose of achieving the climate goals of Joe Biden, president of the United States and US DOE is also committed for keeping 100 percent of clean electricity flowing and also preventing the premature closures.

Jennifer Granholm also said, the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law has been making this all possible by allowing them to leverage the existing clean energy infrastructure of the United States along with the strengthening the energy security and protecting the energy jobs in the country.

The 6 billion dollar Nuclear Credit Program is going to be allocating the credits to the reactors that are certified for saying that, they are projected for ceasing the operations because of the economic factors and this assessment of the operations is going to be resulting in an increase that are projected in the pollutants present in the air. The credits are only going to be allocated to the selected certified reactors over a period of four years.
