The automobile company ‘Kia Motors’ has now topped in the United Kingdom overtaking others for the first time in thirty one years since the company has now entered in the market of the United Kingdom.
On Wednesday, 9th February 2022, the Society of the Motor Manufacturers and Traders of the United Kingdom has reported that, the company ‘Kia Motors’ had said that, around 10,504 vehicles in the market of the United Kingdom in the month of January 2022, which has been responsible for putting the company in the first ahead of the companies like Volkswagen and Audi.
This achievement had been the first time of the company topping the rankings since the company entered the market in the year 1991, and the market share of the company has also reached an all-time increase of 9.13 percent and the sales figures had been increased by 67.5 percent from the 6,271 vehicles have been sold during the same month in the year 2021.
According to the analysts, the performance have been reflecting the results of the company for driving up the sales along with the competitive fully electric vehicle (EV) models such as Niro EV and the EV6 in the response to a big increase in the industry of the electric vehicles and demand within the United Kingdom for the vcehicles.
Paul Phipott, chief executive officer of Kia United Kingdom said, the record numbers of the car sales in January 2022 had been made by the close partnership between the dealer network and the corporation for the purpose of providing the customers with the competitive products.
