Tradepoint Atlantic and BMW North America has together celebrated the opening of the new vehicle distribution center of BMW that has been breathing new life into the grounds of the old Bethlehem steel mill.
The new BMW vehicle distribution center at the terminal of Tradepoint Atlantic is going to be supporting more than 125 dealers of BMW and MINI in the eastern and central regions of the United States, and this site is also going to be performing the vehicle inspections, along with the repairs, paint, body and mechanical accessory installations, maintenance and vehicle programming.
The new BMW vehicle distribution center has been looking like a showroom, and even Larry Hogan, governor of Maryland, who had been invited to the opening of the distribution center had been looking like he had been ready for a test drive of the vehicles. But the vehicles of the company are actually on their way to a showroom, and this new facility is going to be processing more than 100,000 vehicles per year and also sending them to the retailers in the Midwest and East Coast of the country.
The governor ‘Larry Hogan’ said that, the creation of new jobs and associated economic benefits have been a real game changer but it has been equally important, and this partnership has also been allowing the Port of Baltimore for the purpose of continuing to lead the way in response to the ongoing crisis of supply chain and also cementing status of the port.
