Iron Mountain, a leader in the information management services and innovative storage ha snow joined the EV100 initiative of the Climate Group and it has also reached the main milestones on the process of electrifying the company’s global vehicle fleet, and also continuing the journey of the company for purpose of reaching the climate pledge commitment for achieving the target of net zero carbon emission by the year 2040.
The company ‘Iron Mountain’, that has been operating a fleet of more than 5,000 cars, trucks and vans has now given the commitment for the process of transitioning around 100 percent of the cars and 50 percent of the vans to the electric vehicles by the year 2030.
Sandra Roling, head of transport at the Climate Group said, they have now been thrilled for welcoming the company ‘Iron Mountain’ to the company’s EV100 initiative, and as n award-winning member of the RE100, the renewable energy achievements of the Iron Mountain has been showing the leadership in the action and also serving it as an example of how to grow the business along with decreasing the climate impact.
William Meaney, chief executive officer and president of Iron Mountain said, as a part of the RE100, the company has committed to 100 percent of the renewable electricity across the world, and they have also achieved around 80 percent from the initiative that is including their data centers completely with the renewable energy.
