The companies including ‘Daimler Truck North America (DTNA)’, BlackRock Renewable Power, and NetxEra Energy Resources, LLC has now announced partnership for the purpose of laying the foundation for a joint venture (JV) that has been proposed for the purpose of designing, installing, operating and developing a high performance charging network for the heavy and medium duty hydrogen fuel and battery electric vehicles in the United States.
Along with the goal for the acceleration the launch of the carbon-neutral transportation, that has been starting the transportation, along with the beginning of the operations for the future Joint Venture that has been planned for the year 2022. The primary funding has been expected for being comprised of around 650 million dollars that is divided equally among the all the three companies.
John O’Leary, chief executive officer and president of DTNA said that, this has been planning the joint venture and the collaboration of the company with the companies like NextEra Energy Resources and BlackRock is going to be addressing the urgent need for the hydrogen fuel and battery electric charging infrastructure for the commercial vehicles for the purpose of reaching the shared climate goals.
John Ketchum, president and chief executive officer of NextEra Energy Resources said, by working with BlackRock and DTNA, the company is expecting to accelerate the transformation of the transportation industry along with making the future investments in the charging stations, upgrades in electrification and renewables.
