United Kingdom Registers 183,037 Covid-19 Cases on Wednesday

On Wednesday, 29th December 2021, United Kingdom has registered 183,037 novel corona virus across the country, and the new figures of the corona virus cases that have been released by the government of the United Kingdom has set a new record for the novel corona virus pandemic.

The government of the United Kingdom also said that, 57 people have died within 28 days after testing positive for the novel corona virus, which has been the seven-day tally to 516 fatalities in the country.

Boris Johnson, prime minister of the United Kingdom said that, more number of the infectious Omicron corona virus variant cases had been responsible for causing significant problems, but he has so far resisted for imposing the new and strict measures of social distancing ahead of the year 2022.

The scientists thought that, the Omicron variant is going to be milder than the past incarnations of the corona virus, but it has not exactly clear to the extent or how much people infected with the Omicron strain will end up dying or admitting in the hospital.

The ministers of the government of the United Kingdom has been focusing on the corona virus booster programme, for which the ministers are hoping that, it will be heading off the increase in the cases along with the prevention of the people from serious illness and deaths, and Boris Johnson said that, in some of the wards in the hospitals, around 90 percent of the people in the ICU had been unvaccinated.
