The company ‘Procter & Gamble’ has voluntarily recalled over 30 30 products of aerosol spray, which are including the dry conditioners and dry shampoo because of the concerns related to the levels of the benzene, which has been known for causing cancer.
The company has also recalled several products of the Old Spice and Secret last month because of the presence of the Benzene chemical in them, and the company ‘Procter & Gamble’ have started to review all the remaining aerosol products of the company after the primary recall and the company has also found the unexpected levels of the chemical benzene from the propellant that is responsible for spraying the product out of the cans or bottles.
The company said that, the large majority of their products have not been a part of this voluntary recall, which is including the hairsprays, mousses, liquid shampoos, conditioners, unaffected aerosol dry shampoo spray, treatments, and also the styling products.
The products that have been recalled by the company had been distributed across the country through the online modes and the retail outlets, and the company has also asked the retailers for removing the all the recalled products from their shelves.
The customers, who have already purchased the products have also been advised for stopping the use of these products and throw them away, and they can also check on the websites of the affected brands for knowing more about the process of reimbursement.
