The company ‘Goodyear Americas’ has announced that, the first replacement tire has been turned for the electric vehicles in the region of North America, which is also known as ElectricDrive GT, which has been marking an important step in the provision for the electric vehicle drivers for the tire producing company.
David Reese, vice president of the product development at the Goodyear Americas said, the products that have been anticipating the mobility needs of the consumers are central to the focus on the innovation excellence of the company ‘Goodyear’.
He also said, the electric vehicles has also been presenting a very specific set of the requirements for the torque, load, noise, range, rolling resistance and overall performance, and they are very proud for delivering the leading technologies for serving the continuously evolving landscape of the electric vehicles.
The ElectricDrive GT has been featuring the SoundComfort technology of Goodyear, which has been acting as a built-in sound barrier for the purpose of helping in decreasing the noise on the road, and the features of an asymmetric tread pattern and the specialized tread compound for the purpose of enhancing the all-season traction in both the dry and wet conditions.
Andrew Lau, product marketing manager at Goodyear said, with the help of the continued growth in the segment of electric vehicle, and the company has also recognized an opportunity for the purpose of providing the consumers with a tire that has been designed for the unique needs of these electric vehicles.
