United Kingdom Hits New Daily Record of 88,376 Cases of Covid-19 Infection

The government of the United Kingdom said, the country has registered another record daily number of the cases of the novel corona virus infections, and the authorities of the United Kingdom has recorded 88,376 new confirmed novel corona virus cases on Thursday, 16th December 2021, and around 10,000 more than the previously recorded, which has been set a day prior.

The officials of the United Kingdom said 146 people that were infected with the novel corona virus have died between 15th and 16th December 2021, and the officials of the United Kingdom said that, the new Omicron variant of the novel corona virus has been spreading at a very fast pace, along with the number of the cases have been doubling in every two or three days.

The Health Security Agency of the United Kingdom said, another 1,691 Omicron corona virus variant cases have been identified in the country that has been bringing the total to 11,708 cases in the country, even though the scientists have warned that, the number of the cases are likely going to be higher.

The chief medical officer of the United Kingdom said that, it has been possible that, the daily hospital admissions in country from the novel corona virus is going to be surpassing the peak numbers in the past, even though he has also been cautioned that huge uncertainties have remain around the new Omicron corona virus variant in the United Kingdom.
