According to a statement from the US CDC, to date, no cases of the new omicron corona virus variant have been identified in the United States, and the US CDC has been continuously monitoring all the corona virus variants and the US covid-19 variant surveillance system has also reliably detected the new corona virus variants in the United States and they are also expecting that, the omicron variant for being identified quickly, if the variant emerges quickly in the country.
Although, on Saturday, 27th November 2021, Dr. Anthony Fauci said, he is not going to be surprised if the new omicron corona virus variant has been already present in the United States.
Dr. Anthony Fauci said, they have not detected the virus yet, but when the people have the virus that has been showing the degree of the transmissibility and the they already have the cases related to the travel, which they have noted in the countries like Belgium and Israel along with several other places, when they are having a virus like the omicron, and it is ultimately going to be spreading all over.
