According to the reports, the electric vehicle manufacturing company ‘Tesla Inc.’, is going to start the production of the EVs at the company’s factory in Germany from the month of December 2021, and the company is also going to start the manufacturing process with around 30,000 electric vehicles in the plant.
The company ‘Tesla’ had been about to begin with the production in the month of July 2021, but the plans got delayed because the company had not received the environmental clearance from the government of Germany. The report said, the local regulators are also expected to approve the permits required within the upcoming days.
According to the reports, five units of Tesla Model Y have been already completed at the factory, which is based in Berlin, Germany, although they are not on the production line, and the report also said, the actual production of the electric vehicles are going to start with the capacity of 1,000 electric vehicles per week and then the company will be increasing the numbers gradually.
A spokesperson from the economy ministry of Germany said, Tesla has also removed its application for the state funding for the factory, and the company has been continuing go stick to its plans for the battery manufacturing factory in the gigafactory based in Berlin, but the company will be doing it without the state funding of IPCEI.
The Spokesperson also said, the European Union has approved a plan, which is including giving the state help to Tesla, BMW and several other companies in to provide support for the production of EV batteries.
