UK Government Makes Covid-19 Vaccines Compulsory for Healthcare Staffs

The government of the United Kingdom has now confirmed that it is going to be making the novel corona virus vaccines compulsory for all the frontline healthcare staff of NHS starting from 1^st April 2022.

On Tuesday, Sajid Javid, health secretary of United Kingdom said, after considering thousands of the responses to the consultation of mandating the corona virus vaccines that was launched in the summer, and he has also concluded that, all the people, who are working in the NHS UK and several other social care are going to be vaccinated.

Sajid Javid also said, they are going to avoid all the harm that is mostly preventable and it is also going to provide protection to the patients in the NHS, along with protecting their colleagues in the NHS along with the protecting the NHS itself. All the staff, who are having a face-to-face contact with the patients will have to show the evidence showing that they are fully vaccinated against the novel corona virus, and the staff, does not have any direct contact have been exempted along with those who are having a medical reason for not taking the jab.

Currently, there are over 103,000 staff of NHS, which has been just 10 percent more of the total workforce, that have not been vaccinated. The government of the United Kingdom has also consulted on making the vaccines for flu mandatory, and Sajid Javid said, these flu vaccines are not going to be imposed at this point, but the government will always remain open to the option.
