Enel Green Power North America has now begun the construction of the 250 megawatt and 25 miles wind energy project based in the region of Ellis County, Oklahoma, the US, and with the help of this new construction, it is going to the 12th wind energy farm of the company in the state, and the Oklahoma wind energy portfolio of the company is now exceeded to 3 billion dollars in the investment.
Georgios Papadimitriou, head of the Enel Green Power in Canada and the United States said, as they are now continuing to celebrate the 10 years after the company first broke the ground in the region of Oklahoma, they are now very excited for reaching to a major milestone of the investment in the state.
He also said, the leaders of Oklahoma know that, a responsible and sustainable energy policy has been able to strengthen the rural communities along with attracting the top businesses, which is why, the state of Oklahoma is one of the leader for the renewable energy in the country.
The company ‘Enel Green Power’ has started the construction on the company’s for Oklahoma wind energy farm, known as Rocky Ridge in the year 2011, and since them the Enel Green Power has started the construction of 12 wind energy farms that has been representing more than 1.7 gig watts of the operating capacity, along with establishing the company as the second largest wind energy operator in the state of Oklahoma.
