A health regulator of the United Kingdom has added rare syndrome to the list of the possible side effects caused from the novel corona virus vaccine developed by AstraZeneca, and the syndrome is called as Guillain-Barre syndrome, which has been a condition that has been seen in some people, who have had the jab of AstraZeneca corona virus vaccine, even though the experts have been insisting that, the benefits of the novel corona virus vaccine has been outweighing any of the possible side effects.
The Medicines and Healthcare Product Regulatory Agency (MHRA) of the United Kingdom has added the Guillain-Barre syndrome as a possible side effect of the AstraZeneca corona virus vaccine, and this disorder has been affecting the nerves of the people which mainly includes the nerves of the feet, limbs, and hands, as said by the UK NHS.
The symptoms like pain, numbness or weakness can possibly be felt in the patients along with the condition that mainly affects the immune system of the people, and for most people, they are going to be treated and will also have a complete recovery but on the rare occasions, it can possibly lead to the long-term illness and might also be life threatening.
The European Medicines Agency (EMA) has already added the Guillain-Barre syndrome to the side effects cause by the novel corona virus vaccine developed by AstraZeneca last month, and according to the data, there had been 833 cases of the Guillain-Barre syndrome from the 600 million doses of the AstraZeneca covid-19 vaccine.
