French TotalEnergies Enters into US Offshore Wind Energy Race

TotalEnergies, a French company is revealed plans for the stateside alliances with the companies including Simply Blue Energy and EnBW, as the TotalEnergies has joined the fellow oil and gas companies including Shell, BP and Equinor, along with the power producing companies like EDPR, Orsted, Engie, EDF, and Iberdrola in the European backed opportunities in the United States.

Patrick Pouyanne, CEO of TotalEnergies said, the partnership, along with the other groups has been struck in the offshore wind energy, that had been crucial to the company, which has been a latecomer to the industry that has been presenting some risks even to the biggest players in the country.

The company is going to be entering the United States market that has gathered the pace by the week, along with the Atlantic Shores of 1.5 gigawatts project of Shell and EDF, which has currently been under the review of New Jersey, and the company Vineyard Wind has also been sweetening the company’s bid for the recently revealed Commonwealth Wind Plan along with an offer for the purpose of developing the Salem Harbour into the second offshore wind energy port in Massachusetts in the United States.

The company OEM Siemens Gamesa has also added to the company’s increasing order haul in the United States along with an confirmation of 800 megawatt of the deals that have been responsible for triggering the first wind energy turbine manufacturing facility in the United States of America.
