According to a study, the people in the United States, who have taken both the shots of the novel corona virus vaccines had been 11 times less likely to die after getting infected by the virus, and besides the fully vaccinated people are also 10 times less likely to be admitted in the hospital as compared to the unvaccinated people.
According to one of the studies conducted by US CDC, the novel corona virus vaccine developed by Moderna had been more effective in the prevention of the hospitalization that the corona virus vaccines developed by the companies including Johnson and Johnson and Pfizer and BioNTech.
The study has analyzed 32,000 patients of corona virus, who had been seen in the hospitals along with the emergency departments between the Month of June and August 2021, and the novel corona virus vaccine developed by the company ‘Moderna’ have also seen 95 percent effective in the prevention of the hospitalizations, that has been followed by the corona virus vaccines developed by Johnson and Johnson and Pfizer and BioNTech respectively.
The overall efficacy of the corona virus vaccines against the hospitalization had been 86 percent for all the age groups but this number had been decreased to 76 percent for the people who are more than 75 years of age, and this number is not clear when the covid-19 vaccine developed by Moderna vaccine is appearing to have a slight edge on the vaccines of Johnson and Johnson and Pfizer.
