The company ‘Arla Food Ingredients’ has now launched a new concept for providing help to the manufacturers for the purpose of creating the protein bars that can possibly tap into the demand for the fillings of creamy nut butter without compromising on the functionality, taste and texture of the protein bars.

The category of protein bar is now forecasted to grow at a CAGR of 6 percent between the period of 2021 to 2025 largely due to the demand for the tasty snacks, that can possibly quell the people craving for carbohydrates, although, there has been a growing call on the manufacturers for the purpose of bridging the gap between the indulgence and health, along with 55 percent of the consumers saying that, is going to be very hard for finding the indulgent snacks, which they believe are healthy for them.

As the category of the protein bars becomes more competitive, the manufacturers of the protein bars are also looking for the innovative ways for the purpose of meeting both type of the needs, and the Arla Foods Ingredients also said that, one of the growing featured ingredient has been the peanut butter, that has been pretty familiar to the consumers along with of offering the indulgent taste along with the texture of the bar.

Although, the use of the base of the soft nut butter in the protein bars that has been responsible for causing the problems like the risk of getting hard over the time, that can possibly affect the shelf life and texture of the protein bars.
