According to the application filed by Tesla with the Public Utility Commission of Texas, the company Tesla is now wanting to sell electricity directly to the customers in Texas, and the application has been following the beginning of a large battery for building out by the company ‘Tesla’ in the region of Angleton, Texas, where the company is going to be aiming to connect an energy storage system of 100 megawatt to the grid.
The company ‘Tesla’ is also going to build several utility-scale energy storage systems across the world, that has been including one of facility in the eastern region of Los Angeles, and another plant is going to be underway in the region of Monterey, based in California.
Although, Tesla has not functioned as the provider of the retail electricity, where the company is going to be setting up these energy storage systems, instead, the large batteries that are built by the company, which tends to provide help to the other energy companies in the production of the energy, along with the consumption and energy.
Several officials have also been initially blaming that, the intermittent nature of the renewable energy, although the state has largely been running on the fossil fuels, and it has been later emerged that, the regulators and lawmakers of the state, including the Public Utilities Commissions and the Railroad Commission of Texas had ignored the requirements for the prevention and fixing more vulnerabilities in the electric grid of Texas.
