The number of people hospitalized in the United States infected with the novel corona virus has been increased by more than 100,000 for the first time since the month of January 2021, and according to official figures from the Department of Health and Human Services of the United States shows that, 100,317 inpatient beds in the hospitals have been now occupied by the corona virus patients in the country.
The return to the levels of hospitalization of January 2021 have been highlighting the devastating increase of the covid-19 infection from the highly contagious Delta variant of the novel corona virus that is spreading rapidly among the non-vaccinated people in the country.
According to a study conducted by the United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) have been highlighting that, the unvaccinated people in the United States are now facing the mortal danger, and the study also shows that, the people who have not received the corona virus vaccine are around 29 times more likely to end in the hospital with the novel corona virus than the people who are fully vaccinated.
The corona virus hospitalizations are particularly high in the states like Florida and Texas, and this week, the covid-19 death rate in the state of Florida had been much higher than it has ever been throughout the novel corona virus pandemic, and the continuously increasing death rate has brought the total covid-19 death toll to 42,731, along with 26,203 new corona virus cases in the last 24 hours.
