The innovation arm of the ‘GSK Next’ of the consumer healthcare company GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) based in the United Kingdom has successfully partnered with the company ‘R/GA Ventures on an initiative for the purpose of working with several of the start-up companies in the technology and health industry.
The Re/Wire Health Studio launched by the GSK Next is going to be inviting several of the emerging health and technology start-up companies for working with the consumer division of the company GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) on the diagnostic solutions of the company along with the aim for developing the better health experiences.
The start-up companies, who are going to partner with the company GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) on the programme are going to be receiving the proper guidance and the companies are also going to be offered various partnerships and opportunities in the market, and the health studio of GSK is also going to be focusing on three core areas of health, that is including the mental resilience, oral health along of the health and wellness of women.
Nick Tate, vice president at GSK and GSK Next head said, they are now seeing large partnership opportunities and disruption in the health space of their consumers, and they are very excited about fusing the trusted scale and science of the consumer healthcare of GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) with some of the most brilliant thinkers and producers across the everyday health.
The health studio of GSK is going to be selecting six start-ups to work with, and those selected companies are also going to have access to the services of R/GA and the designers, Strategists, technologists along with the consultants for providing help to the companies to develop their businesses.
