Hyundai Motor Group Planning to Launch a new Fully Electric Car in 2023

The automobile giant, Hyundai Group is now preparing to launch a new fully electric car within the coming two years, and the plans have been confirmed by the confirmed by BorgWarner, electric power train partner of Hyundai Group.

The deal, which was signed between BorgWarner and Hyundai group means that, the fully electric vehicle could possibly be launched under any brands of the Hyundai Motor Group, but there is the possibility that, the electric vehicle is most likely badged as a Kia or Hyundai, and the electric vehicle is going to go into the production by 2023.

The company BorgWarner is going to be supplying a new integrated electric drive module to the Hyundai Motor Group for the development of the car, which has been responsible for combining the motor and gearbox of the car into one bolt-in unit, which has been a setup, that has been responsible in saving both the weight and space of the vehicle over a conventional electric drivetrain.

The BorgWarner is also having a peak output of 135 kW, even though it is not expected that, the company ‘Hyundai’ is going to be using all of that performance in the company’s electric city car, and the setup of BorgWarner is also having a modular inverter, that is going to be responsible for allowing the Hyundai Motor Group for dial-backing the output of the motor to a more sensible 100 bhp, which will be responsible for putting the performance of the new electric vehicle on a level with Hyundai i10, powered by petrol.
