On Tuesday, 10th August 2021, United Kingdom has recorded 146 new deaths related to the novel corona virus with 28 days after testing positive for the virus, which has been the highest daily total of deaths since the month of March 2021, as the impact of the increase in the novel corona virus cases have been feeding through into the fatalities.
On 10th August 2021, the number of new novel corona virus cases have been decreased to 23,510 from 25,161 on Monday, that has been less than half of the total corona virus cases recorded on 17th July 2021, just before the corona virus restrictions had been removed in the United Kingdom.
But the novel corona virus cases have started to rise again with 196,047 people of the United Kingdom have been infected with the novel corona virus in last week, which has been 7 percent more than the number a week before, and the government of the United Kingdom had also gone ahead with the easing of the novel corona virus restrictions in the United Kingdom because of the large roll-out of the corona virus vaccinations.
Around 75 percent of the total adults in the United Kingdom have now successfully received both the doses of the novel corona virus vaccines and around 89 percent of the people have received at least one dose of the vaccine, and the United Kingdom has also suffered around 130,503 deaths related to novel corona virus, which has been the second-highest total across Europe after Russia.
