DFA and Bel Brands USA Partners to Launch Sustainable Milk Cooling Program

The companies Bel Brands USA and the Dairy Farmers of America (DFA) has announced a new program in which they have partnered for the purpose of implementing and measuring the sustainable cooling practices that have been designed for the purpose of decreasing the greenhouse gas emissions by reducing the on-farm usage of the energy.

The animal health and production of crops are now critical to the health of the planet and the people, and the continuously changing climate can be having the impacts on both the, along with addressing all these impacts have been requiring the investment in the innovation of farm animals for decreasing the footprint of the environment of each step of the production processes.

Bill Graham, CEO of Bel Brands USA said, they have actively been working to promote the sustainable farming, that has also been including the dairy production, for the purpose of providing help in driving a more regenerative and sustainable agriculture industry.

Both DFA and Bel Brands USA, that have joined the forces for the purpose of proving help in improving the on-farm practices, that have been able to identify an opportunity for decreasing the carbon footprint on the dairy farms by the process of integration of more economically viable and energy efficient milk cooling systems in the line along with Net Zero Initiative.

This new farm is going to be working with the sustainability team of DFA for the purpose of capturing the data on the economic and energy savings of the more innovative sustainable milk cooling practices as compared to the chillers using high-energy flash, along with the goal of replicating such practices on the dairy farms of the United States in the future.
