BMW UK has now released the company’s ‘BMW Points’ Scheme, by giving the users an enthusiastic wake calls for providing support to the future of the electromobility as the owners of the hybrid electric BMW cars are now going to be rewarded for every mile they drive in the United Kingdom or Europe.
This Point System program will be applied to the people which are owing a BMW 330e, 545e, 530e, 745e, BMW X5 45e and the BMW X3 30e, that are equipped with the 7.0 operating system.
This premise has been very simple and it is also going to be adding a bit of gamification and loyalty to the driving experience of electric vehicles, and the drivers are also going to be rewarded two points for the each and every mile driven by the electric vehicle along with the points double for every mile driven in the designated eDrive zones, and these eDrve zones can mostly be found in the regions including Manchester, London, Birmingham, Edinburgh, Belfast, Lemerick and Limerick.
The company has implemented this initiative for the purpose of bringing down the pollution caused by the owners of BMW cars in the United Kingdom, specifically as the country has now been struggling to control the emissions of carbon dioxide within the highly populated zones in the country.
The company ‘BMW’ has also promised the owners of the cars a bonus of 20 points every time their electric vehicle has been charged for more than 15 minutes of time, along with a monthly bonus of around 500 points for the users, who have charged their electric vehicles for over 20 times a month.
