Germany: Hyundai Motor Corp. to Take State in H2 Mobility

The automobile company ‘Hyundai Motor Corp., is now going to be invest in the H2 Mobility network of hydrogen that has been fuelling the station operators, and on Thursday, 5^th August 2021, the company is also looking to support the infrastructure for the vehicles powered by fuel cells.

The subsidiary of Hyundai Motor is going to be the shareholder of H2 Mobility and the company also said, that it has also received the approval from the cartel office of Germany, and the automobile giant of South Korea did not disclose the financial details of the investment, and Hyundai Motor is also going to join the investors list including Shell, Total, OMV, along with several other industrial gas manufacturers like Air Liquide, Daimler and Linde.

Ronald Grasman, vice president of the fuel cell business development of Hyundai Motor said, in Germany, there has been a lot of money flowing into the topic of the hydrogen through the green deal of the European Union and the national funding, and they also believe that, they are now at the forefront.

The cars of fuel cell are very far from the large production of the market, but the company Hyundai Motors, that has been introducing the new fuel cells in the country of Switzerland, along with believing in the hydrogen technology that can possibly be responsible in playing a large role in the small sized vehicles down the road in the future.

The H2 Mobility is now operating on the 91 hydrogen stations across the country, and the Nikolas Iwan, managing director of H2 Mobility said, the group had been looking for some main customers for the purpose of bringing large volumes to the stations in the country.
