Mercedes Benz Planning to Go All Electric by 2030

Mercedes Benz, a flagship of Daimler AG said, it has been gearing up for the aim to go all electric by the end of 2030, which has been the latest move made by an automobile company for the purpose of accelerating the transition to the plug-in cars.

The company ‘Mercedes Benz’, flagship of Daimler AG on Thursday, 22^nd July 2021 said, it has been planning to invest more than 47 billion dollars between the period of 2022 to 2030 in the battery powered electric vehicles for the purpose of reshaping the business of the company around the production of the all-electric vehicles, and the target has also been signifying a complete shift to an electric only approach.

The company also said, as a part of the plan, all the newly introduced vehicle facilities are going to electric only from the year 2025, and the customers of the company are also going to be able for pricking the all-electric versions for every car model produced by the company, and the combustion engine vehicles are still going to be available for the purchase as along as there will be demand for the vehicles, but then company is not planning for the purpose of developing the new models of the vehicles powered by the fuels beyond 2030.

The company added, eight electric models of Mercedes Benz are going to be manufactured at the seven locations on the three continents as early as 2022, and it also added that, it is planning to construct eight factories for the production of the battery cells.
