Germany and Unites States launched Climate Partnership

Joe Biden, president of US and Angela Merkel, chancellor of Germany have together launched the climate and energy partnership, and as a part of their ongoing work together on the process of addressing the threat of the rapid climate change, and this partnership is going to be strengthening the climate ambitions and also deepening their collaboration on the sustainable technologies and policies, that is mainly needed to speed up the net-zero future.

Both United States and Germany are committed for achieving the goals of the Paris Agreement along with taking the decisive action for the purpose of keeping the temperature limit of 1.5 degree Celsius within the reach. They are also going to share the goals of the leading the world for the purpose of developing the innovative tools, which are urgently needed for accelerating the climate action across the globe and achieving the green house gas emission targets by 2050.

The climate and energy partnership are also going to be co-chaired from the side of the United States by the Special Presidential Envoy for the climate along with the secretary of Energy and from the side of Germany, it will be co-chaired by the Minister of Economic Affairs and Energy along with the Minister for the Environment, Nuclear Safety and Nature Conservation, with the active participation from the US Department of State, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Germany.

Both Germany and the United States, are going to be investing in a sustainable economy, which will be driving the inclusive growth, along with creating jobs and providing support to the communities and a healthy environment in both the countries.
